Welcome all to the: πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈ INTERDIMENSIONAL WIZARDING EXPO πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ A game where your characters are all wizards! What is a wizard? Good question. For the purposes of this game, a wizard is one or both of: 1️⃣ Any character that has a magical ability gained through talent and/or training 2️⃣ A character that is explicitly known as a wizard Tips: πŸͺ„ Some abilities not explicitly known as "magic" can still be considered magical (e.g. the Force, bending, Allomancy), so use your best judgment. πŸ’ͺ "Talent and/or training" means that the ability must somehow distinguish the character from other beings of their kind (e.g. you can't be a genie, as all genies inherently have wish-granting powers). πŸ‘Ό Abilities gained through mechanical, pseudoscientific, divine or demonic origins are not considered magical (e.g. you can't be Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, or Beelzebub). However, a character with abilities of that sort could still be valid under criterion 2 (e.g. Gandalf). πŸ“– To fit criterion 2, a character must have an authoritative source calling them a wizard (e.g. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, or the kid from The Wizard). πŸ’‘ Any OC submitted must be wholly original, and not derivative (e.g. you can't be "Wizard Mario"). The game is expected to start the week of June 13-18. The player cap is at 18, and signups will be open until 12PM EST on Tuesday, June 8. To sign up, send Dirty Spaceman or ThePopStarDude a DM consisting of both a character fitting the above criteria, and a personal objective. (edited)

Role DMs will start to be sent out within the next few hours, though some may not come until tomorrow morning. Rest assured you will all receive one in time. Anyway, we are two of the four officials that will be overlooking the Magical Talent Show. This competition will be held in Camelot on every other phase, starting on phase 2. You will have the chance to provide practical demonstrations of your prowess to the judges, and everyone else in the expo will see them as well. You may attempt a performance as many times as you want. (edited)
Aside from this, you are free to traverse through the expo premises through our convenient network of portals as you wish. The expo will last a total of 12 phases, ending with the final talent performances. Get your business done before then.
Everyone is also given a sponsored allowance from the financial board of each realm they enter the convention initially from.
The expo is starting shortly. May the Light illumine you.

Clarification, the Talent Shows will take place on Phase 2, 4, 6, etc.
During phases 3, 5, 7, etc., there will be a break from performances, and magical actions won't be judged.

After the expo, Beatrice seemed to be elated through her victory over Battler, though she was a little sad the adversary she knew now had new plans. Maybe next time they’ll meet in a competition of witches?

I’ll show them the meaning of the Golden Witch… at least it’ll keep the boredom at bay for a while. I do wonder what my toy’s face would look like if he saw this.* __**Player:**__ Ahmaykmewsik __**Character:**__ Beatrice __**Objective 1:**__ Impress the judges at the magical talent show. __**Objective 2:**__ Win a logic battle against another player. A logic battle is a battle of wits between two players with two conflicting statements of truth. The battle is won when either a player surrenders or contradicts themselves, making the other the winner. __**Ability: Red Text**__ You have the Golden Witch’s ability to say things in red. What, were you expecting something else? This is not your familiar gameboard, therefore you have not yet said what saying things in red means. **If you at any point publicly state what saying things in red means, IN RED, that rule will be held in effect for the rest of the game at risk of godkill if you misuse it.** __**Magic: Golden Magic**__ You are the Golden Witch, and you use Golden Magic. What, were you expecting something else? This is not your familiar gameboard, therefore your magic is unequivocally real. You have the ability to restore and levitate objects. You can also turn into a swarm of golden butterflies to avoid any physical actions towards you, however you cannot use this spell twice in a row.
Objective 1: SUCCESS - the exploitation of Disney lawyers impressed the judges. Objective 2: SUCCESS - caught Battler in a minute contradiction during the last phase. VICTORIOUS WITCH DEBATER ENDING
Battler seemed to be more at home in her new body after the Expo. She also seemed to have changed her mind about magic and witches, as she enrolled in the White Tower as a Novice. Elaida would not be going to go easy on her, but she’s not known for a lack of perseverance.
*Eeeeeeehhhhhhh? Who the hell are all these jokers? Wizards? Sorcerers? Enchanters? It’s all useless. I can never win if I accept them as real! I have to prove at least one of them to be a sham, and then through Hempel’s raven… or was it the devil’s proof… either way, I’ll prove that magic isn’t real!* __**Player:**__ AClowderOfCats __**Character:**__ Battler Ushiromiya __**Objective 1:**__ Impress the judges at the magical talent show. __**Objective 2:**__ Prove that another player's magic isn't real, and everything they claim is "magic" can be done with non-magical human tricks. __**Magic: Blue Truth**__ You have the ability to provide theories on how magical performances could have been done without magic in the form of blue text in public. At the end of the game, your blue truths will be assessed, and if at least one of them correctly shows that a public performance of magic was faked through some non-magical means, you will have shown that that performer’s magic is not real.

On a hit it does 1.5 hearts of damage with a 50% chance of setting the target on fire, which will cause them an additional 0.5 hearts of damage for each of the next two turns unless the fire is put out.

In order to establish a Social Link with another character, you must complete all three of the following: Learn a personal detail about their past. Receive a positive comment or compliment from them indicating friendship. Provide some form of help to them, either in conversation or through action. You may not tell another character of these parameters, or you will take 2 hearts of damage and be locked out from building a Social Link with them. Building up Social Links strengthens your Persona. You may summon any elemental orb from your catalogue as an action, and stack them in whatever order you wish. You may at any point discharge an orb to reap its effects, however this can only be done one at a time, and **in the order that you summoned them in.** Orbs return to be summonable only after all of them have been used. __**Elemental Orbs**__ Aqua: Heals 1.5 hearts of HP for a player of your choosing. Flare: Deals two hearts of damage to a player of your choosing. Earth: Protects you from any actions done to you that phase. Wind: Allows you to teleport to any room you have previously been in. Bolt: Nullifies the action of a player of your choosing.
Objective 1: MIXED - Melia’s earth summon was received fine but did not unanimously impress. Objective 2: FAILED - Melia sadly did not fulfill her trial for Elaida (the Tracer ter’angreal was attracted to Excalibur, held by Battler and later Ellen), nor did she complete any other trials or trial runs. Daffy didn’t exactly grow to be the star of the show during the expo, but he sure got new stories to gloat over to Bugs later. He, after all, participated in a highly coveted wizardry competition!

While you have cards in your inventory, you can give out as many as you wish as a single action. __**Skill: The Mystical Wizard**__ You’re a master of imagination, turning mundane acts into great feats of wizardry within the theatre of your mind. You gain a minimum +5 bonus to any action roll if you describe the fantastical equivalent you see it as. If you roll high enough, others might even be so convinced by your display that they see it as magic too…
Objective 1: MIXED - Some liked the card toss, some were unimpressed. Objective 2: SUCCESS - 8 people got a business card, fulfilling the prophecy. ULTIMATE DUCKZARD CELEBRITY ENDING

You can use any form of written-down spell (such as one in a spellbook), but you will have a -5 penalty to your roll unless the spell involves a broom.
Objective 1: MIXED - the fireballs were received well but weren’t overly impressive. Objective 2: SUCCESS - Mickey bought Umineko, Persona, and all Arthurian legends. He made Yu sign a contract to appear in the next Kingdom Hearts. DEALING WITH THE DEVIL ENDING

Tarhiel returned to Morrowind, flying broomstick in hand. He may not have had his breakthrough while at the Expo, but with this enchanted item to learn from, he might soon be able to develop the spell of his dreams...
*Well, my last experiment didn’t exactly go to plan, but that’s no reason to give up hope. This invitation might give me what I need to finally create the spell I’ve desired... and show those fools back in Seyda Neen that I was right all along!* __**Player:**__ Pizzie __**Character:**__ Tarhiel __**Objective 1:**__ Impress the judges at the magical talent show. __**Objective 2:**__ Develop a magical means of flight. __**Magic: School of Enchantment**__ You are a powerful enchanter. As an action, you can enchant any object with a spell you have memorized or written down, giving the object the properties of that spell. You can describe how you want the spell to take effect, but it will ultimately be at the GM’s discretion. To memorize a spell or copy it in writing, you must send an action to do so while in the vicinity of a character who knows that spell, an object enchanted with that spell, or a written-down version of the spell. __**Ability: Spellcasting Ritual**__ You may not be the greatest at doing magic from memory, but with a scroll or a spellbook you can keep up with the best of them. If you have a spell written down, you may cast it upon yourself or the surrounding environment, rather than just using it for enchantment. You cannot do this if you only have the spell memorized.
Objective 1: MIXED - Tarhiel performed many times and did decently, but never blew the judges away. Objective 2: FAIL - Tarhiel acquired two means of flight, but did not copy down or improve upon either method. PARKOUR ENDING

What programs? Well, three programs in particular: Nimbus 5000 Next-Gen Flight Program Universal Healthcare Dewey Decimal System Installation takes two phases. After initiating the installation, you will be prompted with a set of installation options, to provide on the second phase. __**Ability: Compatibility Scan**__ If you are unsure of whether an environment is compatible with one of your programs, you may run a Compatibility Scan. The scan takes one phase action, and will prevent you from sending a movement action.
Objective 1: FAIL - The InstallShield Wizard never performed in Camelot. Objective 2: SUCCESS - Installed the Dewey Decimal System in the library. MAGICALLY LITERATE ENDING
What happened to the Lich? Were they destroyed, or did their cruel essence make its escape to... somewhere else? None of the Expo attendees could be sure, but regardless of the truth, one thing stands undeniable: there will always be monsters.

And from there, bring doom.* __**Player:**__ Brinelex Brine __**Character:**__ The Lich __**Objective 1:**__ Impress the judges at the magical talent show. __**Objective 2:**__ Extinguish all life in the Universe. __**Magic: The Ceaseless Wheel**__ You possess a variety of magical skills that you use to your advantage... and the detriment of others. You can choose one of the following as your action once per phase. Fireball: You produce in each hand a ball of unholy green fire and throw them. They have a 50% chance to hit any other character in the area. If they hit a character, they do 1.5 hearts of damage. Possession: You abandon your physical form temporarily, and attempt to command the body of another character in the same area. Your roll will be contested by the other player’s action roll. On a success, you override either their action or their movement for that phase with a choice of your own. You forfeit your own movement action to do so. Your strong survival instincts, even in the body of another, prevent you from choosing an action that would actively harm your host. Deathly Aura: You breathe out a deadly black fog, and all around you wilts. When using this ability as your action, you can choose one of two effects: add a 1.5x modifier to all damage dealt in the same area as you that phase, or attempt to destroy or damage a part of the area’s scenery. __**Ability: Well of Power**__ As an evil cosmic entity, normal healing items don’t work on you. Instead, you recover health by consuming toxic chemicals such as gasoline, bleach, plutonium, or any material that would be deadly to a normal human. Consuming one chemical heals 0.5 hearts, but if you combine multiple into a concoction - thus having a closer resemblance to your Well of Power - they heal 0.5 hearts times the number of materials involved (e.g. 1.5 hearts for three).
Objective 1: SUCCESS - The judges could not deny being impressed with the Lich’s deadly fireballs. Objective 2: SUCCESS - Destroyed all Life®οΈ in the universe. FIERY-HOT LOW CARB ENDING
Ellen came to the Expo suffering from a deadly curse... and never left. But she’d escaped her torment before the end came. Both that of her illness, and that of her past crimes. And through her redemption, she finally left the grasp of her demonic patron, finding peace at last.

And... maybe a way to get free of this terrible disease too...* __**Player:**__ ori4thewin __**Character:**__ Ellen __**Objective 1:**__ Impress the judges at the magical talent show. __**Objective 2:**__ Survive your disease/curse. __**Magic: The Witch’s Magic**__ As a Witch, you possess several abilities granted to you by a powerful demon. Astral Projection: You can project your mind to a nearby place outside of your body. As an action, you may choose another area you have visited, and you will see the rollover events in that area for that phase. Environmental Control: You can tweak the natural world to your advantage. While in an outdoor location, you can send an action to alter any flora or fauna in the region. Your success will depend on your roll and the scale of your alteration. Misdirection: Whether through illusion or clever manipulation, you can reroute the movement of a character traversing the Expo’s portals. As an action, you can choose a character in the same area as you, and their movement action will be randomized. __**Ability: The Witch’s Curse**__ You are afflicted with a terrible illness, one that will only grow more debilitating as time goes on. Starting on phase 6, you will begin to lose 0.5 hearts per turn. On phase 10, you will begin to lose 1 heart per turn. However, this illness only affects your body. PREGAME DETAILS The pregame will take place over two in-game, in-character phases. During Crew phase, you will meet your Crew, and choose a Captain and a Crew Objective. During Ship phase, you will build your Crew's ship, and choose your Personal Objective. Crew phase will begin on 26-Jan-22 07:00 PM, and be followed by Ship phase the next day. After this, the game world and your characters' unique abilities will be designed. This can be expected to take approximately a week. Phase 1 will begin once this design phase is completed. The player count is 33.

You can choose to either make a haiku or a sonnet, however, I’m willing to allow other types of poems if you ask for permission first! Better poem as judged by Barbaros wins!" Do this by submitting a !do action any time before rollover; the action must be related to dealing with Barbaros. These actions will be resolved in batches. You will still be able to submit your normal phase action afterwards with no restrictions.

But in Encino, the night's festivities are only beginning! Patchy's house is abuzz with activity, as his crew and their additional visitors get busy eating, drinking, and watching SpongeBob! Midway through the night, David Hasselhoff wanders in for a visit! He survived the wreck of the Tempest, and he always wanted to see Encino.

Carvallain sets out the rules for the drinking contest, and every attendee gets ready to give it their best shot. The rum and ale starts to flow! Each participant paces each other admirably at first, but in a stroke of irony, it's Carvallain who drops off first, feeling queasy. This rum is stronger than the stuff back in Limsa Lominsa! Patchy falls over next, still weakened from the injuries he took today. Inigo is the third to drop, recognizing his limit and not wanting to lose his dignity. Vriska is feeling lucky, and she's tossing back pints of ale with ease. But wait - uh oh. She might have overshot her lucky number by just a hair... she suddenly feels nauseous, and has to puke! Blech! Patchy's just glad she made it out to the lawn before letting loose.
Now just Steve, the King, and Undyne are left! They're pacing each other drink for drink, none of them willing to let up! The rum's gone, and the keg is almost running dry by now! There's only enough left for each to have one final pint... The King and Steve raise their glasses to each other, and strike them together in a grand cheers! The sound rings out loud... ...and as it does, both of their expressions glaze over, and they fall to the ground, passed out! Only Undyne is left! She grins maniacally, and drains her last pint! She even finishes the King and Steve's drinks for good measure! NGAAAAAAAHHH! Undyne is the champion of the Encino drinking contest! Somehow, everyone's still feeling up to watching a few more SpongeBob episodes...

As the partygoers in Encino start to feel like the alcohol is catching up to them and the mood starts to turn more tired, they see something rise up in the ocean to the south! A great city emerges from the water, creating massive waves around it as the pocket of a vacuum it leaves behind implodes into a watery vortex. If this wasn't enough, everyone in Encino feels the ground beneath them rumble now! What's going on? They can only gaze in amazement as the island they're on starts to also rise into the air. Not just Encino, but Johnstown and Jeanstown too! The entire archipelago is joining its ancient Atlantian empire, floating to reach alongside the city. The rest of the crews are left with an open blue abyss of waves, far from the nearest continent...

DISCO! STARS, SQUARES, SPHERES, AND STICKS
After their visitors depart, well and truly hung over, the crew that discovered Encino begins to settle in there. The King establishes his Hyrulian administration with ease, and Inigo dons his new cowboy hat with pride as he takes on the role of Sheriff. What better way to spend the next chapter of his life? Steve establishes a new branch of Average Joe's Gym in Encino! He makes sure to build a state-of-the-art dodgeball court with a grant from the King, and it's soon the talk of the town. Finally, Patchy's just happy to be home. He returns to his daily life watching SpongeBob, Potty the parrot nagging him in the background, but he always makes sure to fulfill his duties as Sheriff's Deputy when called upon. That way, he can make make sure his beloved hometown never disappears again!
@Deputy Patchy the Pirate Player: squazz Character: Patchy the Pirate Crew Objective: Claim Encino for King Harkinian and Hyrule. Personal Objective: To find 5 other players to stand in for the roles of Patrick, Squidward, Mr Krabs, Sandy, and Plankton (Best friend, friend who hates me, authority figure, landlubber friend, and enemy) so that Patchy can self-insert himself into the role of Spongebob. Role: Co-Captain As Co-Captain, you may state in your action where your ship will go each phase, as long as you are aboard, and if you agree with (or roll higher than) your other Co-Captains, it will go through. You may also change your Crew Objective once during the game. MS KYE As everyone on the deck yawns and vows to just chill for a while with their spoils of adventure, two souls stand alone near the deck. They both seem lost in thought...somewhat unsure of their situations. It's been a rather stressful few days. Entrapta, having newly recieved a brand new First Mate badge from her captain, looks down at her drill-spear hybried. It's certainly an impressive feat of engineering, one that took a hell of a time for her to make, but with all that's happened and her crew's pact to pacifism, she had never really figured out a real use for it. She turns to her left, and asks Quagsire an important question, one she's asked herself many times over the adventure, but only now feels slightly optimistic about the answer. "Do you think...That if you're as determined as you can be, and think creatively to come up with solutions... You can always make the best of conflicts you face? Without having to, you know, use force or anything?" Quagsire gives a moment before answering. "...Yes. If you be kind...and try hard... Very, very hard... In end, you get..best reward. It hard...but it worth it." The captain looks over the now calm shores below again. "That's what I believe." (edited)
Entrapta thought about that for a bit. She eyed her spear again, and stood there for a bit before smiling, an idea clearly in her head. She suddenly thrusts her spear down, into the waters, below, and shot her eye lasers straight at it! What was she thinking?! Then, some sort of bubble can be barely seen in the water, and... SPLASH! Water flies up into the air and goes everywhere! Quagsire, surprised, looks up into the above him. "Woop!" "Wooper!" "Quaa!" "Woo!" A whole bunch of Woopers and Quagsires start raining down around the ship! They're all pogging joyfully, waving to the one on the Kye. Captain Quagsire's eyes sparkle and he cries a bit, overjoyed to finally see his underwater family again. They all eventually fall back into the water harmlessly, and Entrapta packs up her stuff and walks back towards the belowdecks. "Thank you, Quagsire." Some time passes, and it looks like the sun is beginning to set. Captain Quagsire had remained alone on the deck of his ship to safely sail it away, preparing for the next tour, but finally decides to check in for the night. He walks downstairs, and gazes on his crew. James Pond, Orla & Maerk, Sea Hawk, and Entrapta are all sleeping soundly in their respective beds, or wherever else they felt comfortable enough to sleep on. Quagsire smiles. It sure wasn't an easy trip, and it was tough keeping all these rowdy folks together, but... That was fine with him. He wouldn't trade this crew for the world. (edited)

Ability: The Flightless Captain How have you not gone extinct yet? Oh well. You've managed to put together a device for your wings that transforms respect into energy. For every expression of respect towards you from another person, you gain one flap of your wings to take you in the air. Just one won't take you far, but if you use enough, you might gain some altitude. This is restricted to one flap per person, per phase. You may save up as many as you want, but you must include how many you got each phase in your action. Skill: Delegation Dandy Your skills at micromanagement give a +3 modifier to actions done by other people that you gave them, as well as a +1 modifier to your action per each delegation. You also can fix damage to your own ship for 3 hearts as a phase action. Ability: Master of Mechanics You're a scientific prodigy who can create all manner of weird and wonderful devices! While at a laboratory, or while in possession of physical parts, you can craft any mechanical device you describe, within reason. This includes traps that can be placed in game areas, robots that can automate any task that would normally take an action, and even weapons - for defending what's right. Ability: You Best Be Fearing the Hair, Baby! Is it a miracle of science, or something else? Who knows! Regardless, you can control your hair as an extension of yourself. This allows you to perform a second full action every phase, as long as you specify that your hair is doing it and it's something your hair can feasibly do. You can't attack someone with your hair, but you can restrain them. Skill: Knowledge of the First Ones You gain a +5 to any investigation actions on a technological device, with an extra +3 if that device is ancient. Your pistol has a primary ammo slot that will not run out, and two reserve ammo slots that you can shoot once before they run out. You can assign and reassign ammo types by loading the appropriate material into a specific slot. Water: Bubble Bobble - you may shoot a bubble at a player to engulf them and restrict their movement. Fruit: Healthy Healing - you may shoot a fruit blast at a player to heal them by 1 heart. Alcohol: Woozy Wash - you may shoot a stream of strong spirit at a player to decrease their roll by 5. If aboard your ship, this becomes 1.5 hearts. Skill: Charismatic You gain a +11 to any rolls involving speaking with others, and all NPCs will trust you by default. Ability: Bardic Inspiration Like any true Bard, you know how to use your skills of performance and eloquence to give strength and luck to others. Normally this is a d6, but here, in the time-honoured tradition of taking the average and rounding up, it will grant +4 to an action of any character you choose other than yourself. You should indicate whether to have the bonus apply automatically on the same phase you give it to them, or if they receive it to hold onto and use when they choose. You can give Bardic Inspiration once per phase as a free bonus action. Ability: Telepathic You're attuned to the realm of the mind, granting you certain psychic abilities. As a bonus action on any phase, you may submit a message to be sent telepathically to a given player. This message will be sent by bot DM to that player during rollover. Ability: Rage As a Barbarian, you can enter a state of primal fury in battle. As part of your phase action when attacking another entity, you may call upon your Rage, which grants you the following properties: -All attacks do an extra 0.5 hearts of damage. -You take 50% less damage from all physical attacks. -You gain a +5 modifier to any non-attack actions involving strength. Your Rage can remain active for up to 2 additional phases after being activated, but ends if you spend a phase without performing an attack. After a Rage ends, you must wait at least one phase before using it again, and you may only use it up to 3 times in total. Ability: Hybridization Due to the experiments conducted on you in your past, you have two large crustacean arms emerging from your back. As your phase action, you may use them to either attack or grapple a nearby entity. If you use them to attack, each arm does 0.5 damage, and you may choose separate targets or the same for both. If you use them to grapple, you cancel a single target's movement for the phase. If you try to grapple the same target for additional phases, you must beat their roll by a growing threshold in order to keep them restrained.

Role: Sailor (Lookout) As a Lookout, you gain a 40% bonus on all spy actions. While on board your ship, you automatically spy on the top deck of any ship 1 tile away with 100% accuracy, and 2 tiles away with 50% accuracy. Ability: Fire-Based Combat You would never have become such a renowned captain without your signature technique: setting boats on fire! Armed with the simplest of implements, you know all of the ways to set any vessel ablaze. As long as you have Flint and Steel in your possession, you may use your phase action to set any vehicle on fire. You must be aboard a ship in order to set it on fire. If a ship is on fire, it takes 1.5 hearts of damage per turn until the fire is put out, but it also does 3x damage when ramming another ship or other target, with a 40% chance of setting that target on fire. Skill: By the Power of Shanties! If you know about one thing, it's ADVENTURE! And there's no better way to let out your adventurous spirit than through the power of song. If you break into song (via text) during a phase, you gain +5 to your roll that phase. You also can optionally grant +3 to the roll of anyone who hears and appreciates your shanty, and impose -3 on the roll of anyone who dislikes your magnificent masterpiece. HUMPHREY'S DREAM (THE LEGENDARY SHIP) A striking striped mast and gold-covered bow that shines in the sunlight, the Legendary Ship rides again, high into the air above the high seas. But no longer is it being handled by a corrupt, cruel pirate of legend. No, piloting it now is a ragtag team of three former outcasts, who may have seen their group having shrunken down, but now with a bond thicker than the salty seas below. Vriska, Scarlett, and the newly rebuilt Karl look on from their high perch, looking forward to future endeavors. Freedom is a rather new feeling, especially for Karl, with his shackles binding him to the Castle finally broken, and each of the crew's loved ones flashes in their minds. It sure wasn't easy to get this far, having to brave a giant sea monster alone, and then giving the previous owner of this boat a kick to the ribs (And a removal to the head, but y'know, semantics), but the prize certainly met the price. This ship reached its legendary status for a reason - It truly can take them anywhere they wish, and you'd better believe they plan to make use of that. First stop's Pandora! That old Blade's treasure's not just gonna find itself! But of course, that's only merely the first of many adventures for these new friends...

A fearsome but cursed shotgun once belonging to the legendary Captain Blade. Deals 1.5 hearts of damage to your target, but also 0.5 damage to you. This item has one phase of cooldown. Role: Captain As Captain, you may state in your action where your ship will go each phase, as long as you are aboard. You may also change your Crew Objective up to 2 times during the game, and your First and Second Mate up to one time each. Special Companion: Arma Your trusty bird friend, Arma, is at your side as always! She's quite versatile, being able to shape-shift anytime into whatever object you like, as long as they're the same volume. These objects, being made of cement, are near impossible to break, and can have varying uses depending on what they are. Ability: Punt-Ability Being a statue, your attacks can leave quite the... impact on people. Your melee attacks do an impressive 1.5 damage at first, and your sheer strength has the potential to send your foes flying, potentially as far as to another area if your roll's high enough. Unfortunately, your reliance on the Castle's limited power means your attacks will do 0.5 hearts less of damage every time you use them, regaining only 0.25 back every phase you don't (Up to the maximum of 1.5). Rolling them yields practically limitless possibilities as to what happens next, including creating new items, and due to this, the positivity of your outcome is still determined with the d20 system. You’re very lucky, though, so you can more or less expect it to be relevant to your current situation. You will see the results of your 8d8 rolls during rollover, as these are tangible dice. Ability: Vriska Archetype You’re literally VRISKA. Everybody either loves you or hates you, or in some cases, both, and you can’t get enough of the attention. You receive a +1 d20 roll bonus for every player/NPC who mentions you by name during the phase. THE SKULL KING
The Ghost King, now enhanced to its full glory as the Skull King, sits at anchor for a while as it hosts a great celebration. Its crew has never been bigger, and their bonds have never been stronger! In the mature and fearless Cortez, they know they have a leader they can trust, and First Mate Edwin announces he's resigning as the leader of the Defias Brotherhood to stay on with the ship full-time! Noah courteously congratulates him, and the Demoman gives a rambunctious cheer. The rest of the crew enjoys the atmosphere as well. Twig looks up in awe at the now-floating archipelago, already thinking of how to convince Cortez to make the ship fly. Molly sits and munches on her potato chips, glad to know she can call her sisters in to visit at any time. And though the wind never rests, Aura is confident that the ship's future adventures will be all she needs. Belowdecks, Muskular and Ianis do some baking, and the oven isn't the only heat source in the room. Ianis shows the star his new apron, sporting the slogan "Chef's kiss!" With a blush, Muskular wonders, "...They do?" At the peak of the night, Koeia rears her head above water, hungry for some cookies! As she munches down on them, she informs the crew that she's decided to finally become one of them. The Abyssal Beast is now a true member of the Skull King! This sends the party into even higher spirits! As the party finally ends, they let their guests off the ship. Pirate Terraria returns to his remaining crew, and Bones departs for Jeanstown, to find his own ship. Ever a free spirit, Mononobe no Futo bids farewell to her crew, and swears to visit them again... before doing a sick flip on her skateboard, and soaring off straight into space! She can't wait to be back in Gensokyo.
The rest of the crew goes to their bunks as Cortez mans the helm for some overnight sailing. For a moment, he peeks belowdeck, looking around for old D. B. Cooper and Ceres Leadbow. But they're nowhere to be seen! What became of them? The Pirate King sighs to himself. Perhaps he'll never truly know. He returns to the helm, looking out upon the ripples of the nighttime sea. It's quiet, and peaceful, and even the dark shape of a sea beast below the waves gives the comfort of knowing it's on their side. The skeletal face grins, and he looks forward into the future - one full of untold adventures for the mighty Skull King!

Yes, your body is rather decked out with weapons, and it makes your attacks pretty versatile. They each do 1.5 damage on their own, but if you use multiple in an action, it'l split that damage equally between them (rounded down to the nearest 0.25). You can use this to attack multiple different targets, as well! Ability: Stage Frights The world is a stage, and you know well how to take advantage of this. Adding any amount of flair or flashiness to your action will please the unseen crowd and add a +3 bonus to your roll, and you may once repay their kindness by stealing their souls, which will heal you fully, but also lose you the style bonus permanently. If you attack a character for the first time, they have not spoken to you that phase, and they have not attacked and are not attacking you, you do an extra 1 heart of damage on a hit. You can also gain this effect if you attack a character in a different area adjacent to the one you're in, but you must know that the targeted character is there. Skill: Master Stonemason Though the days of being a simple Stonemason are far behind you, your hands still remember the long-honed skills that made you worthy of being the Guild's leader. You gain a +5 bonus to any action involving building or fixing something with tools. Skill: Born Leader As the leader of the Defias Brotherhood, and once upon a time the Stonemasons' Guild, you know what it means to command and inspire others. Ability: Holy Covenants At any point during the game, you may create a covenant with another player by slicing some kind of meat. A covenant is an obligatory promise for between parties. While on your ship, you do an extra 0.25 hearts of damage with personal weapons, and an extra 0.75 hearts with shipboard weapons. Skill: Drunken Master You have an abnormally, almost comically high tolerance for alcohol - in fact, it’s less of a tolerance, and more that you’ve learned to work together. While drunk, you receive a +5 to all rolls, with none of the usual downsides, but you have a -5 to all rolls while sobering up. These periods last two phases and one phase, respectively, and happen back to back. They reset when you've had another beer to drink. Special Item: The Tide Turner The broken steering wheel of a ship that has been repurposed into a shield. You may charge with the Tide Turner to gain a speed boost and dodge most attacks, as well as dealing 0.5 hearts of damage to a desired target with your shield bash. This item has two phases of cooldown. Special Item: The Scottish Handshake Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! You may drink the rum as an action, triggering your Drunken Master skill as alcohol would. Essentially, this makes it so that actions relating to that feature are more likely to succeed or fail, depending on if the spot was made to be "fortunate" or "unfortunate". You may set up a maximum of 3 spots at a time, and you may abandon a spot at any time you wish. Ability: Plate Shikaisen As you became hermit by faking your own death and transferring your soul to a plate, for you, plates naturally possess healing properties. You can change to your Abyssal form at will as an action, and this form will last as long as you disable it with another action. In your Abyssal form, your offensive capabilities are much higher, worthy of other leviathans. But you can only stay in outdoor water areas such as beaches and docks, and cannot go on land or ships. Ability: Fish Out of Water You cannot stay above land without hurting yourself, being a sea creature. You may only move through water, or... tubes connecting water. However, you can, as an action, ingest water to save for one whole phase of land movement without taking damage. After this, you must return to water or hurt yourself badly. As a water monster, though, you can swiftly pull anyone in the same area as you underwater to restrain their movement and cause 1 heart of damage to them if they cannot breathe underwater. Skill: Threatening Figure You strike fear into the hearts of sailors across the world. You gain a +3 modifier to any action that evokes terror, dread, or unease. One hit of the anchor will do 1.25 damage at first, but if you hit people with it on consecutive phases, you can start to rack up a Combo, in which it will do +0.25 more damage per each subsequent phase you successfully hit someone with it! Special Dolphin: Mr. Dolphin It's Mr. Dolphin! Normally he'll just be circling around your ship, but you can call him for a phase to do a very weak but very irritating 0.25 damage, and also cancel your foe's action! Using this ends your Combo, however. You can also send him out up to 2 spaces away from your ship, and he'll notify you if he finds anything interesting there! You may also use it to defend instead of attack, in which case it will reduce your chance of being hit by 25% and reduce your damage taken by 0.25 hearts if hit. Ability: "Spice" Trader As a well-spoken captain with secret noble lineage, you have a knack for giving your deeds an air of legitimacy. If you attempt to sell or trade stolen goods, you can do this in any area regardless of its level of repute, or with any NPC regardless of their side of the law. If you're selling or trading goods, you can receive up to 50% more in return than another player would receive. "Hey beauties, I was just taking a nap. Shall we be off again? Round's on the house," he says. The three jump on the refurbished Dream and set off to search for their not-so-fallen partners. Barbaros, John McAfee and Humphrey are shouting at them to stop and pick them up as well, but the ship is already too far for the crew to hear them.

Ability: Drowning Sign "Bottomless Ladle" Using your ladle, you may flood an area for two phase which will render it completely unusable for 2 phases, unless multiple people actively try to uninundate it. Additionally, if that area happens to be the hold of a ship, it will inflict 1.5 hearts of damage passively for 3 phases, or until it is emptied. Of course, even if you ladle IS bottomless, it takes it some time for it to completely refill with water. Picture using it like flushing a toilet ; You will have to wait 3 phases of cooldown after using it to be able to utilize the ability once more. Ability: Phantom "Dipper Creeping Close" You phase through things pretty easily to you being, well... Dead. This allows you to teleport at will to any !moveinstant areas neighboring the one you currently reside in which you should not normally be able to access. Of course, you need to know said area actually exists to actually be able to teleport to it. This includes situations such as, but not limited to ; - Blocked-off paths. - Enemy ships in the same area as sea tile as you're in. It is to be noted that to access one such area, you may use a !moveinstant action. However, you will need to use a !move/!movespecial action to exit it and return back to the area you can from at the end of the phase (that is, if you desire to).

Each bomb explodes for 0.75 damage to anyone in that area. $1100 Pirate Lord: The ship gains the MOAB Takedown ability, which shoots harpoons that deal damage and allow boarding of any ship, even one in the air. Grape Shot projectiles now do 0.5 damage each, and Cannon Ship bombs now do 1 heart to each target. Ability: Mon(k)ey Machine How do you acquire this dosh? Through violence, of course! After a visit to Encino to say hello to his friend Patchy, the Hoff swims back off to guard the shores of all mankind. His perfect pecs gleam in the sunlight as he disappears over the horizon... Player: Cerbera Character: David Hasselhoff Crew Objective: Celebrate plundering a ship or recruiting new crew members with a big party in Encino. Personal Objective: Bring SpongeBob to Encino Role: Sailor (Gunner) As a Gunner, you have a 95% chance to hit your target on any attack action. While on your ship, you do an extra 0.25 hearts of damage with personal weapons, and an extra 0.75 hearts with shipboard weapons. Ability: Boat You’re so good at swimming, it’s like you’re practically a boat! You may swim for as long as you like without drowning, and you can move through 2 water tiles per phase. Additionally, if you see someone drowning, you can rescue them by taking them back to shore. Ability: In the Flesh You've amassed yourself an army of crazed fans over the years. You receive a +5 bonus to your roll if any players fangirl/fanboy over you during a phase.
Over the radio comes a strange transmission.
Player: Amalgam Character: Ceres Leadbow Crew Objective: Take revenge upon Koeia's captor(s). Role: Sailor (Lookout) As a Lookout, you gain a 40% bonus on all spy actions. While on board your ship, you automatically spy on the top deck of any ship 1 tile away with 100% accuracy, and 2 tiles away with 50% accuracy. Special Item: Electric Guitar The main tool of your trade, your personal electric guitar! You can play music using it (up to 60 dB, or 110 dB while amped), and also cause a powerful burst of sound which will damage foes it's directed at and has a chance to disrupt any actions directed at you. It starts at doing 0.75 damage and a 10% chance to cancel actions as a baseline, but with all the energy you acquire with sound-emitting objects like the amplifier on your ship, this move can become more powerful, increasing in damage by 0.5 and disrupting probability by 20% for each item. Ability: Audiokinesis You have the innate ability to convert sound waves into energy. By coming into contact with it, you can absorb the power from an object emitting sound and, convert all it at once into energy, whether heat, electrical, or kinetic. The more decibels in the sound it emits, the more energy you can utilize, and if you stockpile 400dB or more worth, you can utilize one of three powerful abilities: Kinetic: Causes a gale of force powerful enough to carry any person or object within reason up to 3 spaces in a direction of your choice. Heat: Sends out a blast that deals 1.75 damage and sets anything it touches on fire. Electrical: Creates electricity that can do 1.25 damage and cancel the action of anyone it hits, or strongly power any electrical device.
