Everyone, save for Twig, who is just chilling, gets to work on surveying the area in their own way.

Scarlett looks off to the south, but she doesn't have any sort of viewing item, so she doesn't seem to see much of anything.

Arma turns into the shape of a spyglass and Karl looks through it, but he also doesn't seem to be able to see much as he's basically just looking through a concrete tube.

Meanwhile, Bec Trede is channeling all her anger, and suddenly takes it all out on a poor flute! It breaks clean in half on her knee!

The ship will gain a +40% chance to dodge incoming attacks, and anyone on board will automatically investigate the depths below the current tile. The ball containing Karl goes flying into the air, directly towards the Kraken! The ball is shed, and Karl leaps out of it, now Armifying a large, spinning blade of concrete!

SLASH! That does a blow right against the Kraken's body!

GRIIIHH!! The Kraken screeches in pain, but seems more enraged now than anything!

Karl desperately tries to grab some of its body before he falls to the ocean floor! He grabs onto a tentacle, and holds on for dear life as another tentacle crashes into him!

Karl's right leg breaks off from the impact and drops down into the water!

He's still desperately trying to get any more damage off that he can in this state, before the Kraken simply grabs him, leaving him stuck.

He still maintains the same guise of confidence as ever, but...

This is not a good situation.

An array of orchestral instruments sit in their cases, from flutes to tubas to violins. There are a set of three point-defense cannons mounted on deck.
